I AM USING ELECTROLYSIS SESSIONS BECAUSE I WANT TO:

  • Remove hair from a small area or a small targeted area
  • Targeting hairs resistant to laser hair removal and pulsed light
  • Avoid any paradoxical regrowth
  • Performing permanent hair removal on dark or tanned skin
  • Removing a mole or pigment spot
  • Obtain a lasting result on a hormone-dependent area
Electrolysis is the oldest, but also the least known, of the permanent hair removal methods. Using a very fine needle called a "microfilament", the cosmetic dermatologist targets the hair bulb to remove the hair. Used alone or as a finishing touch to laser sessions, electrolysis hair removal provides long-lasting hair removal for all types of hair on all skin types. It is therefore the only way to get rid of downy hair and the most recommended permanent hair removal method for dark skin (phototypes 4 and above).
From the first session, electrolysis hair removal permanently reduces the number of hair follicles . The hair grows back less numerous, less thick, until it disappears completely. Thanks to electrolysis hair removal, you can target facial hair and downy hair , but also the lower back , armpits and all areas of the body.

PRESENTATION OF PERMANENT ELECTRIC HAIR REMOVAL

Permanent electrolysis is a hair-by-hair procedure that removes the hair bulb with great precision. This hair removal method has many advantages, including the possibility of removing hair from albino to very dark skin. Unlike laser or pulsed light, hair removal is possible even after tanning. It is therefore not necessary to interrupt sessions during the summer, although exposure to the sun is not recommended after any hair removal.
Permanent electrolysis also targets fine and light hairs, without the risk of paradoxical regrowth . The moustache and cheek hair can thus be eliminated without new hairs appearing around it, unlike other current hair removal methods. The electrolysis method is therefore ideal for facial hair removal, all hair, beauty spots and hormone-dependent areas.
During your first consultation at the aesthetic clinic, a test may be carried out on a small area to test your skin's reaction to this permanent hair removal method. If the result is conclusive, our clinic will offer you a program with a quote adapted to the number of sessions and areas to be targeted.

HOW A PERMANENT ELECTRIC HAIR REMOVAL SESSION WORKS

HOW A PERMANENT ELECTRIC HAIR REMOVAL SESSION WORKS

The duration of a permanent hair removal session by electrolysis varies greatly depending on the density of hair and the surface area of the area to be treated, but the protocol remains the same for each session.
First, your practitioner will install you in a cabin equipped with the Jambel device. After disinfecting the area, it targets the hair germinative structure of each hair with a tip the size of a filament. This tip sends a high-frequency electrical pulse into the hair bulb, which immediately destroys it. The hair is then removed with tweezers. It will not grow back.
Two instructions must be followed to ensure the success of the hair removal protocol: no shaving or hair removal before the session, to leave the hair visible, no exposure to the sun after the session, to allow time for healing.
With the Jambel high-precision device, the session is painless. Each session removes 150 to 200 hairs in the anagen phase (or regrowth phase). It is therefore necessary to repeat the sessions for 6 months to 2 years to obtain an impeccable and definitive result.

FOLLOW-UP AFTER INTERVENTION

A few minutes after the permanent electrolysis hair removal session, small targeted redness may appear on the intervention area. They will disappear in 2 days maximum. Apart from this redness, electrolysis hair removal has no side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS OF ELECTROLYSIS HAIR REMOVAL:

Since electrolysis hair removal is performed hair by hair, it is rather time-consuming. It is therefore mainly recommended for small areas (armpits, face, groin, toes, nose).
As a precautionary measure, this permanent hair removal is not recommended in the following cases:
  • Pregnancy
  • Diabetes on insulin
  • Radiotherapy or chemotherapy
  • Anti-acne treatment on the targeted area
  • Burns and scars on the targeted area
