Phalloplasty can be medical or surgical.
At the medical level
Medical phalloplasty or medical penoplasty only allows for enlargement by injection of hyaluronic acid. The results last around 18 months.
At the surgical level
Surgical phalloplasty allows both enlargement and lengthening of the penis. Enlargement is done by lipofilling. Under local anesthesia, fat is taken from the abdomen, buttocks or another area, then injected into the penis. Lengthening is done under general anesthesia by partial section of the suspensory ligament of the penis.

EXPECTED RESULTS

The thickening of the penis allows an increase in circumference of the order of 2 to 3 cm. This result is visible at rest and in erection.
Penis enlargement allows an increase in length of around 2 cm. This result is only visible at rest.

AFTERMATH OF PHALLOPLASTY SURGERY

FOR THICKENING

After the procedure, the after-effects are relatively simple and not very painful.
The clinical consequences may be edema and rarely hematoma. The resumption of activity is rapid, within 24 to 48 hours. The resumption of sexual intercourse is possible after 15 days of abstinence.

FOR AN EXTENSION

Local care is necessary and simple.
The surgical stitches are removed 15 days after the operation.
The clinical consequences may be edema, sometimes hematoma and temporary deformation.
Resumption of activity is recommended after 1 week of rest.
Resumption of sexual intercourse is possible after 30 days of abstinence.
