YOUR EXPECTATIONS

I AM REQUESTING TARGETED LASER INTERVENTION BECAUSE I WANT:
  • Harmonize my facial complexion
  • Reduce my redness, port wine stains and pink scars
  • Reduce my blushing marks when stressed or exercising
  • Treat rosacea, flat angiomas or erythema in a lasting way
  • Erase the small veins visible under my skin
  • Treating the varicose veins on my legs
Vascular dermatology surgery targets the hemoglobin responsible for the red coloration of unsightly small vessels in order to restore clear and uniform skin. Treatment with Lutronic's Derma V laser limits the reappearance of these rednesses, particularly rosacea.
This laser is the most advanced technology in vascular. It can reduce or even erase all types of redness on your skin. This treatment is performed from a young age by a certified dermatologist with long-lasting and highly satisfactory results .

OVERVIEW OF LASER VASCULAR TREATMENT

Vascular laser treatment involves causing sclerosis of overly dilated vessels by targeting them with a specific wavelength, interacting with the hemoglobin in the blood. Under the action of the laser, the vessel retracts by coagulation before being eliminated by the body.
All redness (even that associated with stress or excessive temperature) and vascular lesions are drastically reduced. Flat angiomas that sometimes appear from birth can also be treated with a suitable laser. The Lutronic Derma V laser is the best method at present for this indication.
This procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes. The result is visible from the first session, but may require two to three sessions depending on the number of vascular lesions to be treated.

PROCEDURE OF LASER TREATMENT OF VASCULAR LESIONS

Before any laser procedure, your cosmetic dermatologist will take the time to study your vascular lesions and analyze the causes of your redness with you. Rosacea is often genetic in origin. However, it is likely to worsen with age, overexposure to the sun, alcohol consumption, fever or hot baths.
At the end of this clinical examination, your practitioner will suggest a treatment protocol adapted to your situation.
If vascular laser is the recommended solution to treat your redness, the procedure will be quick. In less than half an hour, the practitioner will point the laser beam at each reddish area in order to resolve them one by one. This laser treatment can cause slight discomfort, a localized warm tingling sensation, which only lasts a few seconds.
Fine veins and slight redness disappear after the first session. It takes up to 2 weeks post-treatment to see the redness of larger and deeper vessels fade.
FOLLOW-UP AFTER INTERVENTION

FOLLOW-UP AFTER INTERVENTION

Laser surgery may cause swelling, slight redness or small scabs in the area of surgery. These side effects are completely temporary and never last more than 10 days.
The only instruction to follow after a vascular laser procedure is to avoid any exposure to the sun and heat. Saunas, steam rooms and hot baths are therefore contraindicated until the skin has completely healed, i.e. 10 days after the procedure.

CONTRAINDICATIONS OF VASCULAR LASER:

Contraindications to a rosacea treatment session are as follows:
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Taking photosensitizing vitamins or medications
  • Excessive cutaneous vasodilation
  • Tanned skin or recent use of self-tanning products on the target area
