INTRODUCING THE ULTRAFORMER NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT

The Ultraformer non-surgical facelift uses micro- and macro-focused ultrasound technology to treat the different layers of subcutaneous tissue. Micro-focusing, with a depth of 1.5 to 4.5 mm, helps to deeply stimulate the production of facial collagen. The macro-focusing handpieces are used across the body. They provide deep action, up to 13 mm under the skin, to precisely target fat deposits and promote the elimination of cellulite.
Ultraformer machine treatment is ideal for patients with skin that presents wrinkles, fine lines and anyone who wants a non-surgical face and body lifting effect. Practitioners can modulate the depth of the ultrasound to treat the face and silhouette with different intensities throughout the sessions.
Ultraformer ultrasound can also be used in combination with other aesthetic treatments for optimal results. The HIFU action on wrinkles and facial sagging is particularly effective when this treatment is combined with hyaluronic acid injections. PROCESSING PROCEDURE

Before starting your treatment, the cosmetic doctor will work with you to diagnose your needs. Depending on your requests, the areas to be treated and your medical history, he will present all the possible alternatives and recommend the best protocol. In the event that the Ultraformer non-surgical ultrasound facelift is the best solution for you, here is how the session takes place:
Premedication is necessary before starting treatment, the doctor will apply an anesthetic cream 30 minutes before.
After removing makeup and disinfecting the skin, the doctor traces the contours of the area to be treated. He then applies a conductive gel and sets the machine. He first acts in depth, to target the fat, then he gradually moves up the different layers of the dermis and epidermis to tighten the skin and smooth wrinkles.
A complete treatment includes 1 to 3 sessions spaced one month apart. Under the effect of ultrasound, the skin tissues retract, collagen production is stimulated. The skin appears visibly firmer and smoother. It is advisable to drink plenty of water (about 1.5 liters per day) to eliminate fat quickly through natural channels. The final result is visible after 2 to 3 months and will last for a few years before the skin aging resumes its normal course.
Depending on the patient's age and skin laxity, an annual touch-up session may be prescribed to maintain the best results over the long term.

SIDE EFFECTS OF TREATMENT

Ultrasound may cause moderate pain, often described as “discomfort” during the treatment session. For a few hours or days following the non-surgical “facelift,” the patient may experience slight redness or tingling. However, they can resume normal activity immediately after leaving the office.
After a session, the treated area will have some redness, bruising or slight itching. These will fade quickly.
In the long term, focused ultrasound does not cause any known side effects or complications.

CONTRAINDICATION TO ULTRASOUND FACE AND BODY LIFTING

This treatment can be performed at any time of the year, regardless of the patient's skin type or tan.
Contraindications to an Ultraformer ultrasound “facelift” are as follows:
  • Pregnancy
  • Open wound or skin disease on the treated area
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Taking anticoagulants or aspirin (according to medical advice)
