The EMSculpt® is a non-invasive body contouring treatment for men and women, with action on both muscle and fat. The average results are in the order of 15 to 20% more muscle and 15 to 20% less fat in the treated area, after a protocol of 4 sessions. The sessions are spaced at least 3 days apart. One of our doctors at the Clinique de la Croix d’Or will first examine you and check that there are no contraindications to the EMSculpt®. If the treatment is possible, you will then be quietly settled and the protocol can begin.

Are you ready to get started? The doctor positions the applicators on the skin of the targeted area and holds them in place with a dedicated ergonomic strap. Then, he will start the contraction protocol with a low intensity and will gradually increase until reaching the maximum possible intensity felt by the patient. In this way, you will gradually get used to the muscular contractions resulting from the high intensity focused electromagnetic waves (HIFEM), and will feel slight tingling until you feel a tightening effect similar to a sustained muscle sheathing session.

The muscle then contracts supra-maximally, up to 20,000 contractions for a 30-minute session.
