EMSculpt® is a non-invasive body remodeling treatment for men and women, with action on both muscle and fat. The average results are around 15 to 20% more muscle and 15 to 20% less fat in the treated area, after a protocol of 4 sessions. The sessions are spaced at least 3 days apart. EMSculpt® is indicated for non-obese patients (men and women), wishing a significant and effective improvement of their figure. It must be accompanied by appropriate and healthy lifestyle and diet rules for a lasting and harmonious result . Please note: The pectoral and dorsal muscles cannot be treated by EMSculpt®, due to the presence of the cardiac muscle at the thoracic level.

HOW EMSCULPT SESSIONS WORK

BEFORE ANY SESSION

One of our doctors from the Clinique de la Croix d'Or will first examine you and check that there are no contraindications to EMSculpt®. If the treatment is possible, then you will be comfortably installed and the protocol can begin.

COURSE OF A SESSION

Are you ready to start? The doctor positions the applicators on the skin of the targeted area, which he will hold with a dedicated ergonomic strap. Then, he starts the contraction protocol with a low intensity and will gradually increase until reaching the maximum possible intensity felt by the patient. In this way, you gradually get used to the muscle contractions resulting from high-intensity focused electromagnetic waves (HIFEM), and feel slight tingling up to a tightening effect similar to a sustained muscle strengthening session.
The muscle then contracts supra-maximally, up to 20,000 contractions for a 30-minute session.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

EMSculpt® is a non-invasive treatment: it does not involve any recovery time or special precautions before or after the session. Some people may feel slight aches and pains as after an intensive sports session . This intense treatment allows real muscle gain and fat elimination, within 2 to 3 months.
